2nd, 3rd, & 4th grade students enjoyed a performance by members of the Asheville symphony play as a string quintet. Some students were able to compose using lines to represent legato (smooth sounds), dots to represent staccato (short, jumping sounds) and "x"s to represent pizzicato (plucking the strings) which the musicians performed on the spot. Students were captivated by the performance and demonstrated excellent audience etiquette. We are thankful to the Asheville Symphony Guild for sponsoring this concert!
